This is a stamp for ^StJoan's new book The Betrayer's Promise.

I actually made this one in three sections and put them together at the end for the final product. The first part was done in Morpheus using the actual cover art from the book (courtesy of ^StJoan). The second and third parts I did in Photoshop. The burning effect is good old fashioned frame animation. I drew one of the burn frames, and used the liquify tool to modify it for each subsequent frame (with frequent touch-ups with the brush). The third section (the title section as I called it) is just Times New Roman text with lovingly applied layer styles.

I used Jasc Animation Shop to bring the pieces together, and Imageready CS2 to add the stamp border and do final touch up.
